2 Officers, 1 Civilian Injured in Los Angeles Accident
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 23, 2020)—Three people, including two officers, were hospitalized in Wednesday’s two-car crash near East Vernon and South Central avenues.
According to a report, the two-car crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a patrol car carrying two officers collided with a vehicle carrying only one driver.
The accident drew the Los Angeles Fire Department to the scene as they tried to extricate one trapped LAPD officer from the vehicle.
Shortly after the rescue, paramedics ushered all three patients to a local hospital.
If any witnesses can help authorities determine the events that led to the accident, please contact the LAPD.
