Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on Highway 281 in Quincy
QUINCY, WA (October 13, 2020) – Police identified 23-year-old Patricia Moreno as the victim who died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 281 on Tuesday.
According to the Washington State Department, the collision happened about eight miles south of Quincy.
Based on a report, the Yakima woman was driving north on the highway when her vehicle crossed into the southbound lane. Subsequently, it hit the left-front side of a second car. Consequently, it spun around in the southbound lane and was hit on the passenger side by a third car.
As a result, emergency crews airlifted Patricia Milanes Moreno to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where she died. In addition, crews sent the driver of the third car, Lidia Rodriguez, 49, of George to Quincy Valley Medical Center and later to Confluence Health-Central Washington Hospital. The driver of the second car, Margarito Silvestre Calvario, 41, of Porterville was not hurt.
This time, officials don’t have additional information to share. However, they continue to investigate the case.
