Worker Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 22, 2020)—A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a Caltrans worker Wednesday morning on the 110 Freeway at West 3rd Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Caltrans worker perished at approximately 12:15 a.m. as he was in the process of closing down a freeway lane.
Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle left the scene, leaving the 48-year-old man with fatal injuries.
At this point, authorities need witnesses’ help in identifying the suspect and the vehicle. Thus far, they believe the car of interest might be a dark-colored SUV.
With deepest sympathies, our law firm would like to express its caring thoughts to the family and friends of the victim.
