One Person Suffers Major Injuries Following Oildale Scooter Accident
OILDALE, CA (October 15, 2020) — A man suffered major injuries following an electric scooter crash on Roberts Lane near North Chester Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a man operating an electric scooter in the bike lane traveled from the bike lane into the street for unknown reasons.
There, a male driver in a Honda struck the rear of the electric scooter, resulting in a major-injury collision.
Shortly after, paramedics shuttled the scooter rider to a hospital for treatment while the Honda driver, who dodged injury, stayed at the scene.
Thus far, police have determined that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in this crash, but anyone with information should contact local authorities.
