Person Dies in Lodi Solo-Car Collision on Highway 99
LODI, CA (October 15, 2020) — One person died Saturday afternoon following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 99 at East Kettleman Lane.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the incident befell around 4:35 p.m.
For unknown reasons, a white pickup veered off the right side of Highway 99 South and tumbled approximately 20 feet down an embankment.
As a result, one person died in the accident, which caused a gray Volvo vehicle to crash under unclear circumstances.
Per reports, authorities closed the southbound off-ramp for nearly an hour to investigate what had happened. Anyone who can help officers determine the events or factors involved in the crash should call the department.
