Rachel Teachout Killed in Solo-Car Accident on 82 Freeway Near Selah
YAKIMA, WA (October 8, 2020) — A 29-year-old woman died Sunday as a result of a solo-car accident on the 82 Freeway near Selah.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Rachel Teachout lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons as she was driving on the 82 Freeway around 8:30 p.m.
Soon after, paramedics responded and transported her to Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Per reports, investigators are unsure if alcohol or drugs had played a factor in the accident; however, an investigation remains in place in determining the events and circumstances.
