MALIBU, CA (October 6, 2020) — A 58-year-old man died Sunday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway at Las Flores Canyon Road.
 
According to Sgt. R. Garcia of the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, the fatal event took place around 10:30 p.m. on the westbound side of Pacific Coast Highway.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a driver of an unknown make and model struck and killed Michael Bennett and had left the scene without rendering aid.
 
At this time, an investigation regarding the whereabouts of the suspect remains in place.
