One Injured in Reno Hit-and-Run Accident
RENO, NV (October 5, 2020) — One person sustained minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident Thursday evening on Wrondel Way near Peppermill Lane.
According to investigators, around 7:43 p.m., a pickup truck collided head-on with another vehicle near Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
The driver of the truck fled the scene after pushing the victim’s vehicle into a nearby parked car. As it tried leaving the area, the suspect struck another parked car and abandoned his vehicle before fleeing on foot.
Following the accident, paramedics brought the injured victim to a hospital with minor injuries.
As for the hit-and-run driver, the Reno Police Department became successful in locating the person’s whereabouts and conducted an arrest.
