SAN DIEGO, CA (October 5, 2020) — A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a scooter rider in a crash at Ingraham Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash took place around 1:00 p.m.
Reports say the woman was riding her moped-style scooter along Ingraham Street but as she took off on the Sunset Cliffs Boulevard on-ramp, a driver who tried passing her on the left struck her, causing her to lose control.
Unfortunately, the driver of that car took off, leaving her with a pelvic fracture, a broken tooth and multiple abrasions.

As of now, the driver and the vehicle’s whereabouts remain unknown; however, anyone who can help the San Diego police officers determine their whereabouts, please call 858-495-7800.
