Adelaido Reyes Detained in DUI Crash on Highway 371 Near Bradford Road
AGUANGA, CA (October 1, 2020)—Three people sustained moderate to major injuries following a DUI rollover accident on Highway 371 near Bradford Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Adelaido Morales Reyes was driving his 2004 Ford Sport Trac southbound on Highway 371 around 10 a.m. Subsequently, the Lindsay man an unsafe turning maneuver, which caused him to lose control of the car on the two-lane highway.
Traveling at approximately 55 miles per hour, the Ford overturned onto a dirt shoulder road before it came to a rest on its roof.
Fortunately, no other cars crashed into Reyes’ Ford; however, his three passengers sustained injuries ranging from moderate to major.
Another male passenger seemed to have avoided harm in the accident.
Following the crash, authorities investigated the scene and interviewed Reyes, determining that he had been intoxicated at the time.
As of Wednesday, he remains under arrest and behind bars.
