One Dies in Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway [Ontario, CA]
Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicles on 10 Freeway near Haven Avenue in Ontario
ONTARIO, CA (September 27, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on late Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Haven Avenue at about 11:07 PM.
Based on a report, officers from the CHP Rancho Cucamonga Area responded to calls of a pedestrian walking in traffic lanes on the freeway. They then reported that a vehicle within the traffic lanes struck the victim. Subsequently, multiple vehicles across all lanes of the freeway struck him.
As a result, emergency crews said he succumbed to his injuries. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity.
As of today, police do not have additional information to share. However, they are now asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the CHP Rancho Cucamonga office at (909) 980-3994.
