Man in Critical Condition after Pedestrian Accident on Arlington Avenue [Reno, NV]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on Arlington Avenue near 4th Street in Reno
RENO, NV (September 27, 2020) – A man suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian accident on Arlington Avenue on late Saturday afternoon.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 4th Street just before 6:00 PM.
Based on a report, first responders found the man in his 20′s down in the road. Officers learned that an unidentified vehicle struck the victim and left the scene.
As a result, the victim sustained life-threatening injuries.
The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to investigate the crash. At this point, detectives are looking for a late model green Chevrolet pickup with minor right-side damage. However, officials don’t have additional information.
Authorities strictly remind motorists to not leave the scene after an accident. However, wait for the authorities to arrive. In addition, always give way to pedestrians who are crossing the street.
