Train Strikes Pedestrian in San Diego near North Cleveland Street
OCEANSIDE, CA (September 25, 2020) — A pedestrian was injured Tuesday after being hit by a train on North Cleveland Street near Mission Avenue.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the 2:30 p.m. incident happened as the northbound Amtrak train was traveling around 20 mph. Under unclear circumstances, it struck the pedestrian at a grade crossing on North Cleveland Street.
