PASCO, WA (March 23, 2020)—Two young girls sustained injuries following Saturday’s DUI pedestrian accident on Lewis Street and 9th Avenue.
According to police, one of the girls sustained serious injuries. The incident happened in a marked crosswalk, where the girls were crossing before the westbound driver struck them.
Authorities arrived to find both of them lying in the area. Although their ages have not been released, police confirmed that one victim is a teen and the other appears to be younger.
Paramedics rushed both patients to a hospital for immediate treatment.
