Two Vehicles Involved in Crash on Highway 101 near Cat Canyon Road in Los Alamos
LOS ALAMOS, CA (September 22, 2020) – At least five people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Cat Canyon Road.
Based on a report, a vehicle traveling south on the highway crossed into oncoming traffic. Subsequently, it collided with another car.
As a result, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department said five people sustained injuries. Crews rescued one of the victims in critical injuries. They used a Cal Star emergency helicopter to transport the victim to the hospital.
The accident slowed the traffic in the area.
