SANTA ANA, CA (March 23, 2020)—A pickup truck struck a bicyclist on Civic Center Drive East and French Street, sending the victim to a hospital.
 
According to Orange County firefighters, the incident happened in the French Park neighborhood of Santa Ana. Firefighters had no other option but to use airbags to lift the black four-door pickup truck off the bicyclist to extricate him.
 
After providing the victim with aid at the scene, paramedics transported him to a hospital.
