Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash With Driver in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 21, 2020) — A 48-year-old man sustained injuries following Saturday’s motorcycle crash on Campanile Drive near Dorothy Drive.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened in the 5000 block of Campanile Drive around 7:45 p.m.
Authorities learned that the 48-year-old motorcyclist had just turned from Montezuma Road onto Campanile Drive when his Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a Subaru WXR.
Per statements, the Subaru had just pulled out of an alley and crossed into the path of the oncoming motorcyclist.
As a result of the accident, the rider sustained multiple major fractures while the Subaru driver avoided injury.
At this time, the liabilities of the accident require more investigation but any witnesses with insight should call officers.
