2 Pedestrians Hit, Injured in Antioch DUI Pedestrian Accident on Garrow Drive
ANTIOCH, CA (September 18, 2020) — Two workers sustained major injuries following Thursday’s DUI pedestrian accident on Garrow Drive near Lindley Drive.
According to news reports, the crash happened around 11:24 a.m. in the 3100 block of Garrow Drive.
A preliminary investigation has led officers to believe that a suspected DUI driver struck the two workers on the side of the road.
Shortly after the crash, crews requested a medical helicopter to airlift at least one of the victims, one of whom had suffered major head trauma and another a hip injury.
In addition to the DUI driver, two other people had been in the car, as well. However, it’s unclear whether they were cited.
