Motorcyclist Dies in Accident on 680 Freeway Near South Jackson Avenue [San Jose, CA]
One Dead in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on 680 Freeway
SAN JOSE, CA (September 15, 2020) — A motorcyclist died late Sunday following an accident on 680 Freeway near South Jackson Avenue.
The tragedy unfolded around 10:32 p.m. when California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a major injury crash.
According to Officer Damian Cistaro, officers arrived at the scene to find a motorcycle and a car blocking the No. 1 lane. Per reports, officials also found a motorcyclist deceased upon arrival.
Nearly 15 minutes later, CHP officers issued a Sigalert, closing all except the No. 1 lane.
