Sam Patterson Dies in Car Accident on 41st Street [Los Angeles, CA]

Single Vehicle Involved in Fatal Accident on 41st Street and Western Avenue in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 12, 2020) – Police identified Sam Patterson as the motorist who died in a car accident on 41st Street on early Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Western Avenue at approximately 3:20 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving southbound on Western when his vehicle went out of control. Subsequently, it crashed into a power pole, knocking the power lines down.
 
As a result, he died due to severe injuries. The Los Angeles Police Department identified Patterson as a 44-year-old resident of Los Angeles.
 
Officials notified the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for the power pole.
 
Officers did not yet release the cause of the crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
