Two Drivers Killed in Fiery Crash on 110 Freeway [Gardena, CA]
Two Vehicles Catch Fire in Fatal Crash on 110 Freeway near 182nd Street in Gardena
GARDENA, CA (September 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that two drivers died after a fiery crash on northbound 110 Freeway on early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near 182nd Street at approximately 4:15 AM.
Based on a report, emergency crews found two vehicles at the scene. The impact caused a raging fire, with both cars going up in flames.
Medics pronounced both drivers of the vehicles dead at the scene of the crash. Officials did not yet release the identities of the victims pending notification of their families.
At this point, police don’t have the details that lead to the crash. However, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
