Man in Critical Condition after Pedestrian Accident on 35th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle on 35th Avenue near Deer Valley Road in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (September 7, 2020) – Emergency crews reported that a man suffered critical injuiries in a pedestrian accident on 35th Avenue on Monday evening.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened near Deer Valley Road at approximately 7:00 PM.
Based on a report, the man was walking at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a car that was going eastbound on Deer Valley struck the victim.
Medics transported the man to the hospital immediately. As a result, they said the victim is in extremely critical condition.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash. However, the case remains under investigation.
