LAVEEN VILLAGE, AZ (September 6, 2020) – At least five people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 39th Avenue on Sunday morning.
 
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of 39th Avenue and Southern Avenue.
 
Based on a report, emergency crews found multiple vehicles in the scene. However, the details that led to the pile-up are not yet known.
 
Emergency officials said five people suffered injuries in the crash. They took three of the patients, all of which are adults, to a hospital with serious but non- life-threatening injuries. In addition, Phoenix Fire officials say two more patients, including a child, had minor injuries.
