Deadly Winchester Rollover Accident at Highway 79

 
WINCHESTER, CA (September 8, 2020) — One person died following Saturday’s two-car rollover accident at Highway 79 and Abelia Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 3:15 p.m. accident involved a white SUV and a black pickup truck.
 
Witnesses informed the California Highway Patrol that the SUV overturned and veered off the road.
 
As a result, one victim died, and three people sustained minor injuries.
 
Still, information remains unclear as to what drove the two cars to collide; however, anyone with information related to this event, please contact the CHP.
