Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Talus Way [Reno, NV]
Female Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on Talus Way
RENO, NV (August 20, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Talus Way on Thursday evening.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened near North Virginia Street at approximately 8:30 PM.
Based on a report, the woman was in a marked crosswalk and had used flashing beacons when she crossed the street. Due to an unknown reason, an unidentified vehicle struck her. Subsequently, the driver fled the scene after the incident.
Consequently, emergency responders found the woman down in the street. Emergency crews took her to Renown Medical with non-life-threatening internal injuries.
Police said they have two vehicles of interest. At this point, no other information is available.
