Woman, 11-Year-Old Girl in Serious Condition after Fiery Crash on 224th Street East [Graham, WA]
Vehicle Bursts into Flames after Rear-End Crash on 224th Street East in Graham
GRAHAM, WA (August 29, 2020) – A woman and her 11-year-old daughter are now in serious conditions after a fiery crash in the 8200 block of 224th Street East on Saturday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 5:00 PM.
Based on a report, the woman was driving and her 11-year-old daughter was in the back of the SUV at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed rear-ended their vehicle. Consequently, both the woman and the girl lost consciousness as the SUV erupted into flames.
A Pierce County Sheriff’s deputy and an off-duty Tukwila Police officer pulled the victims from the wreckage. In addition, they brought them to local hospitals in serious conditions.
Police did not release factors that caused the crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
Slow down and avoid speeding because it often leads to a rear-end crash. However, manage your speed and slow down on areas near intersections to avoid getting into an accident.
