2 Hit, Injured by Driver in Phoenix Accident on East Indian School Road
PHOENIX, AZ (September 1, 2020) — Paramedics shuttled two women to a hospital following a pedestrian accident on East Indian School Road near North 7th Street.
According to Phoenix officials, the accident that left two women injured happened around 7:20 p.m.
Police officers believe that a driver heading eastbound on East Indian School Road struck the pair who tried crossing the road mid-block.
Soon after, paramedics arrived and transported the 30- and 37-year-old women to nearby hospitals in serious condition. Meanwhile, the driver stayed back and undertook an interview with police officers.
Although a preliminary investigation has already taken place, officers have yet to determine whether speed or impairment played a role. Anyone with additional information should contact police officers.
