Julie Kenny Dies in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 50 Near Grass Valley Road

 
AUSTIN, NV (September 1, 2020) — A 60-year-old Las Vegas woman died Wednesday following a two-car crash on Highway 50 near Grass Valley Road.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Julie Kenny died at the scene following the 10:05 a.m. accident that occurred just east of Austin.
 
The NHP believes a green Ford F-350, traveling westbound on the highway, had failed to stay in its lane. Subsequently, the Ford crossed over the double yellow lines and crashed into Kenny’s Dodge Ram.
 
As a result of the accident, both trucks came to rest on their wheels, blocking both lanes of traffic.
 
An investigation regarding this fatal crash remains as family members and friends mourn the death of Kenny.
