Two Semi-Trucks Involved in Crash on Highway 166 near Tepusquet Road in Santa Maria
SANTA MARIA, CA (August 27, 2020) – One person suffered injuries in a semi-truck crash on westbound Highway 166 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Tepusquet Road shortly before 3:15 PM.
Based on a report, two trucks collided with a vehicle. However, officials did not yet know the details that led to the accident.
As a result, medics said one person sustained injuries. Fortunately, the victim’s condition was not life-threatening.
Crews issued a Sig Alert due to the crash.
Police are trying to determine what happened in the moments leading up to the crash. However, they don’t have additional information at this time.
