Two Hospitalized in Two-Vehicle Accident on Norris Road [Bakersfield, CA]
Two Vehicles Crash on Norris Road near California Street in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 27, 2020) – Emergency crews sent two people to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Norris Road on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near California Street at approximately 2:40 PM.
Based on a report, a Mini Cooper was driving westbound on Norris Road and tried to make a left turn onto California Street. In the process, it cut off a Nissan pickup truck and caused the collision.
As a result, crews said the driver of Mini Cooper has a possible broken arm. In addition, medics said the driver of the Nissan truck had a complaint of pain. They sent both victims to the hospital for treatment.
The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the case. At this time, officers don’t have the details regarding the cause of the crash.
