Fatal Car Accident on Highway 395 [Deer Park, WA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Deer Park Crash
DEER PARK, WA (August 24, 2020) – Police confirmed that a young man died in a car accident on Highway 395 on early Monday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened near Dennison Chattaroy Road.
Based on a report, the victim was driving a car when he failed to stop and crashed into a van that was driving south on the highway. Consequently, the van veered on its side.
As a result, medics said the young man died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his identity but they believed that the victim was around the age of 18. In addition, the van driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Investigators did not know if speed or impairment were factors in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
