2 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on 27th Avenue in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (August 25, 2020) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 27th Avenue near West Colter Street.
According to Phoenix Police, the accident happened around 1:00 a.m.
Paramedics rushed both victims to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As for the driver, a 17-year-old, he reportedly ran from the scene but was later captured by officers and taken into custody.
The unidentified suspect remains at the juvenile correction center. At this time, the circumstances of how the accident happened demand more investigation.
