Golf Cart Struck by Vehicle in Accident on 103rd Avenue near Grand Avenue in Sun City
SUN CITY, AZ (August 23, 2020) – Medics sent a woman to the hospital after a golf cart accident on 103rd Avenue on Sunday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident happened near Grand Avenue.
Based on a report, the victim was operating the golf cart traveling on 103rd Avenue at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a Ford Mustang ran a red light and struck the cart. As a result, the impact ejected the woman from the cart.
Troopers said the victim was alert. They sent her to a hospital, but her current condition is unknown.
It’s unclear if the Mustang driver is facing any charges. At this point, the investigation remains ongoing.
