Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 Near Victoria Avenue [Ventura, CA]
One Fatally Struck by Cars in Ventura Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101
VENTURA, CA (August 25, 2020) — A woman died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 101 near South Victoria Avenue Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire Department, the incident befell at approximately 8:54 p.m.
Just north of Victoria Avenue, a 20-year-old Moorpark woman was running westbound in the northbound lanes for unexplained reasons. Subsequently, two vehicles traveling along the highway struck her, causing her fatal injuries.
At this time, the Ventura County Medical Examiner is still determining the details. However, anyone with information concerning this crash should call the CHP.
