One Dies in Rollover Accident on 215 Freeway [Henderson, NV]

Sedan Overturned in Fatal Accident on 215 Freeway near Valle Verde Drive in Henderson

 
HENDERSON, NV (August 20, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a rollover accident on 215 Freeway on Thursday evening.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Valle Verde Drive just after 8:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving a BMW 228 sedan at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, the car left the roadway and rolled over.
 
As a result, responders from the Henderson Fire Department rushed the victim to an area hospital, where he died due to severe injuries.
 
Officials closed the westbound lanes of the freeway to give way to a clearing operation.
 
Investigators did not know if speed or impairment were factors in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
