Man Cited after Car Crashes into Several Vehicles on Western Avenue in Stanton
STANTON, CA (August 16, 2020) – An Orange County Sheriff’s Department patrol car got involved in a crash in the 10200 block of Western Avenue on Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Palais Road.
Based on a report, a man lost control of his sedan and crashed into a few parked cars. Subsequently, debris from the crash smashed the windshield of the Sheriff’s unit that was traveling in the lane next to the crash.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.
Officers questioned the driver of the car. Ultimately, They cited and released him on the scene.
Finally, police said that distracted driving was the cause of the accident. However, officers continue to investigate the case.
