Woman, Man Die in Fiery Accident in Harrah
HARRAH, WA (August 21, 2020)—Two people died following Thursday’s two-vehicle fiery car crash at Harrah Road and Evans Road.
At this time, investigators have not determined the leading cause of the 8:20 a.m. crash that claimed two people’s lives.
According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, a passenger vehicle occupied by a 23-year-old man from Yakima and a 22-year-old woman from Wapato ran a stop sign at the intersection.
Their vehicle subsequently collided with a dump truck.
As a result of the accident, the passenger vehicle caught on fire, forcing firefighters to extricate the pair from the vehicle, while putting the fire out.
Unfortunately, both victims died in the crash while the 41-year-old dump truck driver sustained unknown injuries and required hospital care.
No other information surrounding this accident was available.
