Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Bakersfield Train Accident Near Q Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 20, 2020) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident involving a Union Pacific train near Q Street and Espee Street.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m.
Fortunately, no one riding the train was injured, but the women who had been struck by the train died in the crash.
Detectives have no information related to the cause and circumstances. However, anyone with information should contact detectives.
