FONTANA, CA (August 3, 2020) – A driver got hurt in a rollover crash on 15 Freeway southbound on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just north of Duncan Canyon Road at approximately 11:45 AM.
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. The accident happened after the driver of a black Chevy Silverado pickup traveling southbound in the No. 3 lane of the freeway sideswiped a white Ford F550 dump truck in the No. 4 lane. Consequently, the Silverado went out of control and rolled over the embankment. Finally, it landed in the 4800 block of Lytle Creek Road, below the freeway.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the crash. Officials said the driver of the Silverado complained of pain but declined medical attention.
The CHP is investigating the incident. At this point, they don’t have additional information to share.
