TOLLESON, AZ (August 6, 2020) — A 17-year-old girl died August 3 in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near 103rd Avenue and West Buckeye Road.
The accident happened around 11:50 p.m. when Erin Covarrubias was hit by an unknown make and model while walking along the road.
However, the vehicle did not stop. As a result, authorities must determine the suspect’s identity and his or her whereabouts.
