Alyssa Garcia Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Pyramid Highway [Sparks, NV]

32-Year-Old Alyssa Garcia Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Sparks

 
SPARKS, NV (August 1, 2020) – Police identified Alyssa Garcia as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Pyramid Highway on Saturday.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Los Altos Parkway.
 
Based on a report, Garcia was walking on Pyramid when a vehicle came and hit her. However, it was not yet known if the accident took place at a designated crosswalk.
 
As a result, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office said Alyssa Garcia, 32, died at the scene.
 
There is no word yet on whether the driver was cited for the crash. At this point, an investigation is ongoing.
