Two Dead, One Critical after Boat Crash in Colorado River [Parker, AZ]
Two Boats Crash in Colorado River near Lake Havasu in Parker
PARKER, AZ (July 31, 2020) – Rescuers found two people dead and one critical after a boat crash near the mouth of the Colorado River on Friday night.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, two boats collided just north of Lake Havasu around 7:00 PM. However, the police did not release the details that led to the incident.
Based on a report, divers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department pulled two men from the water with severe injuries. They later pronounced the victims dead at the scene. They did not release their names pending notification of their families. One other person suffered serious injuries and was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the incident. However, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
