SANTA MARIA, CA (August 4, 2020)—Two people suffered minor injuries following a DUI accident on Highway 1 near Solomon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a single-vehicle accident happened just after 11:00 a.m. near Rancho Maria Golf Course.
The female driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole after heading westbound on Highway 1.
Due to the impact, the unidentified driver and her female passenger sustained minor injuries.
Subsequently, PG&E responded to the scene after 19 customers complained of no power.
Following an investigation, police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. At this time, no other information surrounding this crash was available.
