Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Williams Road in Salinas
SALINAS, CA (August 3, 2020) — A 23-year-old rider died in Thursday’s motorcycle crash on Williams Road near Old Stage Road.
According to Salinas police, a driver in a truck attempting to pull onto the road around 7 p.m. collided with the 23-year-old motorcyclist.
An investigation revealed that the driver had been initially parked before the collision occurred moments later.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the rider died despite receiving treatment at a local hospital.
As for the driver of the truck, he or she has been cooperative with police investigations; however, anyone with more insight into this accident should call detectives.
