Woman Found Dead Following San Marcos Accident at San Marcos Boulevard

 
SAN MARCOS, CA (August 3, 2020) — Police found a woman dead in a two-car accident at San Marcos Boulevard and South Rancho Santa Fe Road Friday.
 
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the two-car crash took place around 4:15 p.m.
 
Upon arriving, deputies uncovered a deceased female in the backseat of a vehicle.
 
As for the driver, he or she was detained by local authorities. Due to the nature of the crash, the department’s homicide unit responded soon after and took over the investigation.
 
At this time, no other details surrounding the crash or the fatality were available; however, anyone with insight into this accident should call homicide detectives.
