VICTORVILLE, CA (July 31, 2020) — Police arrested two people following Wednesday’s two-vehicle hit-and-run crash at Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard.
According to reports, the incident happened around 10 a.m. when a Victorville deputy witnessed the crash.
Reports say that a white Nissan sedan occupied by an adult male and a male juvenile rear-ended a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Per Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez, the Chevrolet driver was waiting in the turn lane at Hesperia Road prior to the accident.
A 16-year-old male operating the Nissan and his 20-year-old male passenger fled the scene. However, police apprehended them in the 13600 block of Dean Place.
