Marty Mannani Fatally Struck by SUV on Marguerite Parkway Near Alerzal
MISSION VIEJO, CA (July 28, 2020) – A 64-year-old man lost his life following Sunday’s pedestrian accident on Marguerite Parkway near Alerzal.
According to a coroner’s report, Marty Mannani, of San Juan Capistrano, died 12 minutes after the crash had happened.
The incident took place around 7:35 a.m. when a driver of an SUV struck the 64-year-old under conditions that demand further investigations.
Authorities have not confirmed whether Mannani was using a crosswalk at the time of the impact.
As for the driver, he or she was not arrested or cited, as authorities determined that neither alcohol nor drugs played a factor; however, the case remains under investigation.
