PLEASANT HILL, CA (July 24, 2020) – Authorities are now searching for a hit-and-run driver after a red-light crash on Contra Costa Boulevard on late Friday night.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Concord Avenue at 10:55 PM.
Based on reports, a tan Ford Explorer traveling north on Contra Costa ran a red light at the intersection. As a result, it hit a red Toyota driving across the street. Finally, it struck a city property before running south to leave the scene.
Paramedics did not state any injuries in the crash.
At this time, police don’t have additional information regarding the hit-and-run driver. However, they are now continuing the investigation on the case.
