5 Hurt Following Costa Mesa Car Crash at Newport Boulevard
COSTA MESA, CA (July 28, 2020) – A Monday morning multi-vehicle accident at Newport Boulevard and East 19th Street left five people injured.
According to the Costa Mesa police department, the incident happened at the intersection and involved eight vehicles.
Paramedics had to extricate one person from one of the cars, and one of the five patients sustained minor injuries while several others sought hospital care.
Following the accident, firefighters and police urged commuters to avoid the area by issuing a Sigalert.
