Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Aurora Avenue North at North 125th Street in Seattle
SEATTLE, WA (July 23, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in an accident on Aurora Avenue North on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at North 125th Street.
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim at a gas station. However, the police did not release the details that led to the collision.
Consequently, Seattle Fire crews responded to the scene and located the 50-year-old male victim down in the road. They transported him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Finally, emergency crews confirmed that the victim was in serious condition.
As a result, fire crews closed two lanes of northbound Aurora Avenue to give way to rescue and clearing operations.
The Seattle Police continue to investigate the case. However, at this point, officers don’t have additional information regarding the case.
